from Don Giovanni

I have studied and performed music most of my life - professionally and for fun - and have taught music lessons for 10+ yrs and enjoy sharing my love and knowledge of music with others.

Music has been a huge part of my life.  I have always loved performing music, both as an instrumentalist and singer, and, beginning in 4th grade, have filled my life with opportunities to perform in orchestras, choirs, concert, marching and dance bands, and chamber music groups

I have been a ‘cellist in the CSULA, ARC and Camellia Orchestras, and played string bass in the Cavaliers concert and dance bands.

RECENT PERFORMANCES
I am currently the ‘cellist with Beethoven and Friends, a chamber music group that performs in the greater Sacramento Area.  Our group has recently performed for both the Dixon Chamber and the Pioneer Church Chamber Music Series and is scheduled at both venues for the 2016-2017 season.  For more information please visit BeethovenandFriends.org.  As a member of the Sacramento Chamber Music Group I also perform at private venues in the Sacramento area.

EDUCATION
Bachelor of Music at Cal State Los Angeles, plus 36 graduate units in music.
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at California College of Podiatric Medicine (I practiced Podiatry for 15 years in the Los Angeles area)
Currently I study music privately, attend workshops, and study ‘cello and coach with leading teachers in Northern California.
